Even though I avoid mentioning my age, I had a coworker talk me into competing in the Senior Games here in Tucson, AZ. So I dusted off my Ruger 22LR and my Glock 35 Pistols, bought a couple boxes of ammo and headed to the range. I’ve always enjoyed the Run and Gun, 3-Gun or USPSA type shooting. I never give the stand still and shoot at a “Bullseye” a second thought.
I won’t say that bullseye shooting has become my favorite of the shooting sports, but I have to say I’m hooked. It helps to have the right gun for bullseye shooting, and the right ammo definitely can give you the advantage. Now if you are like most shooters, you are doing it for the fun of it, I know I am.
