Wonderful. We purchased my first gun today. The first employee we worked with seemed very unimpressed about us at first, however warmed up quickly. While I was going through the background check, four different employees came up and asked if I had been helped. The staff seemed to want to be there and honestly help you get what you needed. We will be going back, loved this store.

Travis the gunsmith has worked on 3 of my firearms and did a great job on all. First time speaking with him for almost 2 hrs, he's extremely knowledgeable on firearms and hunting. The manager and the front desk folks were great and pleasant as well. I recommend Travis to all my buddies.

Defensive Carbine Level II

This is a highly dynamic, 1-day class (approx. 8-10 hours) occurring completely on the range. Safe Gun Handling skills are absolutely essential. Participants unable to demonstrate safe gun handling skills will be removed from Level II training ? no refunds, although Diamondback Training Division may work with these participants to provide remedial training so they can return to this class at a later date. This course culminates with night fire training. Must be lawfully allowed to train with firearms in the U.S.

  • Use of cover/concealment, planning your movement
  • Multiple Ground Fighting Drills

  • Vehicle Ops / shooting under and around vehicle
  • Low Light Shooting Drills
  • Flashlight Drills / No Light Drills / Night Fire Drills

Required Gear:

Note-taking material
Carbine (AR, AK or FAN platform)
Semi-automatic Handgun?
Chest Rig or Tactical belt with at least three (3) carbine magazines
Sturdy strong side handgun holster and handgun mag pouch
At least three (3) handgun magazines
Eye & Hearing protection
Sling (1-Point or 2-Point)
Minimum of 400 rounds of target ammunition for carbine
Minimum of 100 rounds of target ammunition for handgun
Flashlight (either End Cap actuated or Weapon-Mounted light with holster)
Appropriate attire for training at outdoor private AZ range
Change of shirt recommended (for after ground fighting)
Lots of water, sunscreen and a bag lunch/snacks for a very full training evening
