Event Detail

The Armed Guard Refresher Course is designed to help Arizona armed guards maintain compliance with annual training and qualification requirements. The course is an 8-hour block of instruction required by ARS 32-2632 and AZ DPS for an armed guard’s annual refresher or renewal application.

Students review legal concepts, safe firearm handling, defensive shooting skills, and complete the required qualification process.

Fingerprints, photos, and range fees are included in the course cost. State fees, stamps, and ammunition are not included in the course cost.
